Commercial evaluation checklists are defined and used to evaluate the commercial aspects of bids from the suppliers.

On preparing requests for quotation, commercial evaluation checklists are assigned to inquiries and then copied to the quote summaries when approving the inquiry.

Pre-defined commercial evaluation checklists that are marked as default are automatically inserted on creating an inquiry. Apart from these automatic assignments, you can assign additional commercial evaluation checklists to an inquiry on the Commercial Evaluation Checklists page.

  1. Click Add Row.

  2. Select a pre-defined checklist from the Seq list.

  3. If score card usage is enabled (ZP_CE_SCCA is set to Y), type the required Weight for this criterion. To know more, view ZP_CE_SCCA.

All the weights of the checklist criteria must add up to 100%.

  4. Optionally, type a file name, and then click Save.

The Criterion value is now a hyperlink.

  5. Alternatively, you can copy pre-defined checklists from a template set, as follows:

    1. Click Copy.

    2. In the Copy CEC Set dialog, select a CEC Set.

    3. Click Copy.

  6. Optionally, if scorecard usage is enabled (ZP_CE_SCCA is set to Y), you can specify sub-criteria as follows:

    1. Click a Criterion.

    2. In the Sub Criteria pop-up, click Add Row.

    3. Type a sequence in the Seq cell.

    4. Type the checklist Criterion and Description.

    5. Enter the Weight of this criterion.

All the weights of the sub-criteria under a criterion must add up to 100%.
