Configure Smart Instrumentation - Intergraph Smart Materials - 10.2 - Help - Hexagon

On the Home page, click Bill of Materials > Import and Compare > Configure Smart Instrumentation.

In the Smart Material Settings section, do the following:

1. Select the Node Type (Plant), Node Type (Area), Node Type (Unit), Node Type (Terminal Node), Node Type (Level 5 - Level 6) from the list.

2. Type or select the Default Quantity Unit from the list.

In the Smart Instrumentation Settings section, do the following:

1. Type the user name in the User Name cell and provide the password in the Password cell.

2. Type the database name in the Database cell.

3. To create the database link, click Create DB Link.

4. Click Create Views to create all necessary views on SRD.

   The views can only be generated if the database link exists.

5. In the Instruments tab, type the source details in the Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6 cells.

6. In the Instrumentation View box, enter all information needed by means of SQL.

7. In the Hookup tab, type the source details in the Level 4 cell and in the Hookup View box, enter all information needed by means of SQL.

8. In the Cable Drums tab, type the source details in the Level 1 - Level 4 cells and in the Cable Drum View box, enter all information needed by means of SQL.
