To electronically sign a record, you must define certification statements. The following certification types are available in Smart Materials:

Certification Type

Usage

Global eSignature Statement

Specifies the global statement used for all electronic signatures except for the questionnaire, if no specific statements are defined.

Inquiry eSignature

Specifies the statement for signing and submitting a quote.

Agreement eSignature - Contractor

Specifies the statement when a contractor signs an agreement.

Agreement eSignature - Subcontractor

Specifies the statement when a subcontractor signs an agreement.

COR eSignature - Contractor

Specifies the statement when a contractor signs a change order request (COR).

COR eSignature - Subcontractor

Specifies the statement when a subcontractor signs a change order request (COR).

Questionnaire

Specifies the statement when a questionnaire is submitted.
