This project default determines how the forecast calculation handles the forecasted dates of milestones where an actual date is present.

  • Module(s) affected by this setting: Planning.

  • List of Values: Y (default) and N.

    • If set to Y, the forecasted dates are synchronized with the respective actual dates (unless a forecasted date appears to be locked) during the forecast (re-)calculation, this is, for each milestone where an actual date is present, this date value is taken over to its forecasted date.

    • If set to N, you can preserve the original forecasted date of a milestone when it is provided with an actual date. Also, there is no need to lock the forecasted date prior to entering the actual date when this option is applied.
