This DBA setting allows you to protect your tag numbers from being updated by the suppliers in the Smart Materials Portal.

Valid values: Active and Inactive

If the value is set to Active, the tag numbers are protected from being updated by the the suppliers in the Smart Materials Web Portal. Now, suppliers can only update tag numbers which they have created using the Split Tag functionality, but not tag numbers entered in the Smart Materials Web.

If the value is set to Inactive, suppliers can update all the tag numbers in the Smart Materials Portal.
