What can I do with the Walking View?

Here are some tips for using the Walking View:

  • To start a walkthrough from a specific object location in the model, select the Walking View icon and then drag the icon to a specific object. Objects highlight as you move across the screen to help with view placement.

  • The blue fill indicates when Walking View is enabled.

  • To exit the command, tap Walking View.

  • The elevation lock is enabled when you drag and drop the walking man icon.

  • Right-click to rotate the eyepoint around the center point of an object under the cursor.

  • Fly mode and the navigation IJKL keys allow you to look around and move the camera center point.

  • Navigation WASD keys move you through the model at the same elevation. If you select and fit to an object, the elevation changes to the elevation of that object.
