To revise a document to a project, it must be signed off to set the document revision state to CURRENT in the plant. You cannot revise multiple current document revisions simultaneously.

You can revise a single document at the plant level to create a new WORKING revision in the project so you can make edits.

  1. Select your create scope to the project level to which you want to claim the document.

  2. Select a current revision document at the plant level, and click Actions > Edit > Revise.

    • If applicable, type a new title, revision scheme, or issue purpose.

  3. Select CHOOSE FILES to attach additional files to the new working version.

If you want to include markups related to the previous version of an attached file on the new working revision, select Copy Markups.

  4. Click REVISE, and the revision scheme creates the document in the project level as the working revision by default.

For example, the following History for the document NEW_DOC_01 shows the plant level current revision 01A has been revised to working revision 02A in the project level. In the project level, the working revision 02A version 1 has been edited in the project which has resulted in a working revision 02A version 2.
