Outgoing actions are initiated by the originating company to the contractor, to perform an action, such as update or validate engineering documents. An outgoing action can be created as part of the Quality Assurance Review process or interactively from the project communication feature set.

This step appears in the To Do List of the user that created the action.

This is an optional step and is controlled by an option on the Response Control tab when you create the action.
You can reject the action during the review and send it back to the author if it requires rework. You can reassign this step, if necessary. |

The selected responders receive the request in their To Do List.

The author reviews the response. If all is OK, they close the action. If more information is required, the action is automatically revised , then the author is asked to prepare and re-issue the action.
