You can view a tag in both 2D and 3D files at the same time by selecting Show in Drawing or Show in Model on a tag's hotspot bubble. This split-screen navigation offers excellent contextual information surrounding a tagged object. This reduces work time by providing large amounts of navigable data within a single view.
To start:
-
Search for a tag or document in your system.
For help, see Search for data and objects in your system.
-
Open the tag or document for viewing.
-
Select a tag, and select Show in Drawing or Show in Model on the hotspot bubble.
If the tag is found in more than one file, select a file from the Pick the document to display for [tag name] dialog.
-
Only file formats supported in the Graphic View Control (GVC) can be viewed during split-screen mode. PDF file formats are not supported in the GVC.
-
You cannot access the Snapshot Gallery nor the Visual Intelligence panel during split-screen mode.
-
-
Select Close to exit the split-screen mode and return to the original view.
-
Show in Drawing or Show in Model opens the tag in the right viewing panel, highlights the tag, and zooms into it.
