Registering interest in a Master Document Register (MDR) creates your review plan. A review plan allows you to control what documents you want to review when new documents are added to the system or when existing documents have been revised or updated in the system. Documents in the MDR are periodically updated and revised by the contractor.

The system sends notifications to your To Do List that new revisions or documents are available for review when the options match what you set in your review plan.

The system can also be configured to automatically preselect types of documents for you to review when they change.

In the review plan, you can:

  • Add or remove documents from a document review.

  • Select documents for review based on a project area, unit, discipline, tag classification, document type, WBS, FEED, or issue purpose.

  • View any documents preselected for you to review.

  • View every document and sign up for review using the individual issue purposes.

  • Filter the document results to return specific statuses of review plan items.

  • Accept or decline preselected document suggestions.

  • Search for documents to review based on specific object tag and document type criteria.

  • View the status of deliverable items.

  • View issue purposes based on a project.
