You can terminate an attached workflow for a specific workflow item using the Terminate Workflow action.

Select a workflow item, and click Actions
> Terminate Workflow.

Click Yes in the Terminate Workflow dialog, and type a reason for the workflow termination.
This only terminates the relationship, it does not terminate the object or the workflow.
After you terminate an attached workflow, the following changes are made:

The relationship between the object and the workflow is terminated.

Workflow history records the termination and the point in the workflow where it happened.

All historical information regarding steps processed prior to termination are saved.

All uncompleted steps for the object in the workflow are terminated and removed from the To Do List for all users.
