  1. In the Documents feature set, select Create Document.

    You select the document type to create depending on the configured method.

  2. On the Create document form, select the property details from the different tabs available and enter the values required.

    SHARED Tip If your system is configured to use ENS, you can create multiple documents with ENS using the create or copy forms, and review them in the Summary pane. For more information, see ENS preview summary.

  3. In New Files pane, select the file system tab from which you want to add files, such as the LOCAL FILE SYSTEM

  4. Select CHOOSE FILES to select files or drop files onto the area to attach to the new document.

    If the file you are attaching references other files, and they are either already in the system attached to other documents or also selected to be attached here, the software automatically creates a relationship between the master file and the referenced file along with the relationship between the master file and the document version. For more information, see Working with reference files and relationships.

  5. Click FINISH, and the documents first working version is created.
