You can replace files in a document with files with the same name that are already attached to a WORKING version.

Select a WORKING revision document, and click Actions
> Replace Files. -
In New Files pane, select the file system, such as Local File System.

Select CHOOSE FILES, and select the files to attach to the revision.

Select Copy Markups to copy existing markups on to the attached files, and click FINISH.

The file names being attached must exactly match the name of the files being replaced.

Replace Files creates a new WORKING version for the revision. The previous WORKING version is set to superseded.

When attaching a master file, if it references a file attached to more than one document, you can resolve the duplicates by selecting and attaching the appropriate reference file displayed in the Reference Files Details window. If a master file references files that do not exist in the database, the names of the missing files are displayed in the Reference Files Details window. For more information, see Attach master file which references other files.
