Log on to the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client as an administrator.

Click Smart Construction > New > Administration > Predefined Adhoc Step to open the New Predefined Adhoc Step dialog box.

Type a name in the Name box.

Type a description in the Description box.

Select a value for a Purpose.

Select a component type in the Component category list.

Click Finish to save your new predefined work step.
