Cost codes can be configured in Smart Construction for cost account reference. Cost codes can be assigned to components based on the work package purpose. For example, a spool can have one cost code assigned for installation activities, and a different cost code assigned for painting activities. Cost codes are supported primarily for reporting and data exchange with other systems such as internal tracking systems.
