Conditions, such as weather or elevation, can affect the performance and productivity of a construction site. An adjustment factor can be applied to IWPs and individual work steps to compensate for any influencing conditions. Adjustment factors calculate the number of hours required to perform a task under project conditions, compared to the number of hours required to perform the same task under standard conditions.

  • You can add adjustment factors to work steps of engineered components and SIDs.

  • You cannot add adjustment factors to manually created components. Instead, adjust the man hours of the manually created component to include an adjustment factor.

  • You cannot add labor adjustment factors to an IWP or a work step with progress reported.

  • You can revise the value of the adjustment factor. Double-click the Value column for the factor you are adding. Type the value you want to add to the IWP.
