Troubleshooting
This error may occur when a component does not have a graphical representation in a model or drawing. Smart Construction can display the engineering data in an IWP; however, the application cannot show the component in a model or drawing because the graphic does not exist. The error occurs in the published data, so it is important to verify that you can view the component in the published document from an authoring tool.

You can check that the same component can be seen and selected in the published document using a viewing tool such as SmartPlant Markup Plus or SmartPlant Review.

If the item is not displayed in the published document, see the documentation of the specific authoring tool used to publish the data.

If the item is not displayed in the published document, the component might not have any graphical representation from a design tool. The specific component may need to be redesigned in the original design tool. Consult your project manager or engineering department for more information.
