If your system has been configured to import data from Smart Completions, you can visualize completions for systems, subsystems, test packs, and loops in a 3D model by defining and applying a scope to the model based on the imported completions data.

Typically, you would use the scope to narrow your model filtering in order to see the completion progress being made on selected systems, loops, or test packs.

Setting a scope will clear any filters already applied to the model. You should apply any additional filters after setting a scope.

Before you can set a scope, you must import Smart Completions data into Smart Construction. For details, see Import Smart Completions data.

  1. Click Scope on the Toolbox.

  2. Select the type of object you want to view in the model:

Process Systems - Displays a list of process systems and subsystems that have been imported from the Completions system.

Loops - Displays all loops that have been imported.

Test Packs - Displays the test packs that have been imported.

  3. Select the individual items for which you want to see completion data.

Enable Live View to see your selections in the model before you click Set Scope.

  4. Click Set Scope.

  5. To filter by completion progress, apply one or more Progress filters, each with a distinct color, to see the stages of completion for the components within the selected scope.

For details on how to apply a filter, see Filter a 3D model.
