Smart Materials/Smart Reference Data Version
2020 (10.0)

The DBA settings are global settings and preferences that control the general behavior and processing of Smart Materials and are independent of the login project or product group.

  • Only a system administrator familiar with the database and Oracle SQL must make changes.

  • You can make changes only when the user/role has write access.

  • While configuring UPLOAD_FILE_SCAN_ENG_URL, in case the scan server value is incorrectly configured with Access Control List (ACL), the application displays a message with the following options/buttons:

Ok - Click this button to activate the Setting Value although the scan server value is not configured with regards to the ACL in the database.

Cancel - Click this button to revoke your changes.

Auto-Configure - Click this button to append an access control entry (ACE) to the access control list (ACL) of a network host. This ensures that the scan server value is correctly configured with the ACL in the database.
