Using component mapping, you can map attributes by applying filters to any of the following components:

  • group

  • part

  • commodity code

  • ident code

  • tables details

  1. In the tree view, double-click an item mapping.

  2. On the PDMS Component Mapping tab, click Edit Grid to unlock the edit options.

  3. Click Add Row .

  4. In the Attribute cell, click Selection list or press F9 to select an attribute.

  5. In the Value/Source cell, click Selection listor press F9 to select a value/source.

    The value in the Codelist Number column is automatically displayed based on the selected value in the Value/Source column.

    Perform step 6 only if you want to map the attributes from a specific data table; else proceed to step 7.

  6. In the Data Table cell, click Selection list or press F9 to select a data table.

  7. Click Save Grid and then click Read-Only Grid to set the grid back to read-only mode.

You can also map the attributes by selecting values in any of the following columns:

  • Group

  • Part

  • Commodity Code

  • Ident Code

  • Table details ( Table1,Group 1, Detail 1,Table2,Group 2,Detail 2, Table3,Group 3, Detail 3)

SHARED Tip When mapping attributes, click Check GridCheck grid on the PDMS Components tab to verify that you have applied all the mandatory filters.
