You can access Business Intelligence Reporting Portal to execute Smart Materials reports from Smart Reference Data Plus.

To enable the Start BI Reporting Portal menu item, you must define the DBA setting, BI_REPORT_URL in Smart Materials.

Log in to Smart Materials, and open the A.60.04 DBA Setting screen

Select BI_REPORT_URL

Set the Seq, Setting Value and the User Comment

Setting Value is the BIR Portal link that is invoked from Smart Reference Data Plus.

  • Business Intelligence Reporting sessions do not take any additional license seats when they are launched from Smart Reference Data Plus.

  • If you log off from Smart Reference Data Plus but stay logged on to Business Intelligence Reporting, the Business Intelligence Reporting takes a license seat. If you re-log in to Smart Reference Data Plus, a Smart Reference Data Plus seat is taken and the seat taken by Business Intelligence Reporting is no longer used.

Launch BIR reporting portal

  • From Smart Reference Data Plus, click BI Reporting > Start BI Reporting Portal.You do not have to provide your login credentials again. You will be directed to BIR Reporting Portal
