You can export symbols or .dll files to Smart 3D using transfer jobs.

Click Integration > XI20 Smart 3D > XI2020 Smart 3D Transfer Jobs.

Click
to select a transfer job from the selection list, and click Open for Edit 
.

Select Write to file from the Job Goal list, and click Save
.

Click the General Configurations tab, and double-click the general configuration in the tree view as specified in the selected transfer job.

Click Edit Grid
, and select a value for the Export_DLL_File setting in the Value cell from the Selection list 
.

Click Save Grid
, and click Read-Only Grid 
.

Click the Transfer Jobs tab.

On the Specifications Items tab, select a specification in the Spec Code cell from the Selection list
, and click Save Grid .
You can either select a specification or select group, part, and commodity codes
in the Group, Part and Commodity Code cells respectively on the Idents tab.

Click
to start the transfer job.

You can edit the symbol's export location and interface version in Smart 3D. On the Destinations tab click
to select the destination as specified in the selected transfer job. Click Open for Edit to edit the value for the Symbol Path box, and Interface Version box, and click Save .

You can also export symbols from Component Management System (CMS) to Smart 3D if the document type is CMS SP3D DLL.
