You can add design standards in the Spec Editor. Each design standard is associated with many standards. The standards are defined in Smart Materials. Log on to Smart Materials and navigate to Administration > GLOBAL SETUP > Standards.
When you work in a specification, you can specify a design standard on the Cover page. A design standard will limit the values in many of the selection lists on the specification pages.
