Start Smart Materials.

On the A.30.03 Roles/Menus screen (Role Menus tab), select a role.

In the Menu Item field, enter the appropriate data item code. Navigating away from this field causes the Item Label and Menu Type to be displayed automatically.

Select the Read Only option if needed.

Click Save
