  1. Click SRD > XS20 Spec > XS2020 Spec Editor.

  2. Select Specification Types/Spec Header/Short Codes/Spec Item from the list in the tree view.

  3. Open a specification that has been issued, is active, and is the highest revision of the set.

  4. On the Cover page, click Revise Spec.

  5. Click Refresh Refresh in the tree view to see the revised spec.

  • When you revise a spec, the XRev value is incremented by 1 if the current spec is published. Otherwise, the XRev number stays the same.

  • When you revise a spec, the Version value is set to 0 if the current spec is published. Otherwise, the Version number is incremented.

  1. Click SRD > XS20 Spec > XS2020 Spec Editor.

  2. Select Specification Types/Spec Header/ Short Codes/Spec Item from the list in the tree view.

  3. Right-click the specification type, click Open Cover Page, and then click Published

    When you select Published, the Issued and Active check boxes become selected, and the Date box is filled with the current date.

A spec cannot be modified after being published.
