You can upload any file to a document.

1. Click Administration > XA70 Documents.

2. With the Documents grid in read-only mode, right-click a row, and click Upload.

3. Browse to select a file, and click Open.

4. Click Save Grid , and then click Read-Only Grid .

   You can also attach a symbol file to a document by dragging it onto the document.

• You can attach only one file to a document.

• If you upload a symbol file to a document, then the version of the attached symbol file is displayed in the Symbol Version column.

• You can update the version for the attached symbol file.

• The symbol codes for the attached symbol file are displayed in the Symbol Codes grid in the PDB Document Manager grid. For more information managing symbol codes, see Manage symbol codes.

• You can also assign a symbol file to a specific tool version though the dependent Smart3D.dlls are not available in your computer. For example, the Smart3DGateValve.dll symbol file can be assigned to a specific version of Smart 3D. To assign a symbol file to a specific tool version, click the cell in the Compatible Interface Versions column and select an interface from the Selection list .
