The VDS installation includes the VDS Configuration Utility (VDSCU). After you install VDS, you will use the VDS Configuration Utility to define settings that manage graphics data storage and services for VDS. These graphics storage and services are defined in the VDS configuration files also delivered with VDS. The VDS Configuration Utility provides the user interface to these files to make modifications to VDS quick and efficient.
After VDS installation, the VDS Configuration Utility can be accessed from the Start menu > Visualization Data Service > VDS Configuration Utility.
You must have administrator privileges on the computer(s) where VDS is installed. Use the Run as Administrator option when opening the VDS Configuration Utility.
