The ability to run the software successfully is greatly affected by the order in which all the necessary and underlying products are loaded. Follow the loading order below to prevent components being out-of-sync. Following this loading order also helps with analysis of any post-installation problems you might encounter.

  1. Determine your hardware setup for the VDS Web Server and VDS Application Server installations. See VDS Platform Recommendations.

  2. Install RabbitMQ.

  3. Install VDS Software Prerequisites

  4. Open secure ports in the Windows firewall

  5. Install VDS

  6. Enable SSL and VDS

  7. Set up the VDS Web Server:

    1. Configure Security Settings for the VDS Web Server

    2. Configure the VDS Web Server for message queue management

  8. Set up the VDS Application Server for authorization
