The Diagnostic Utility reads the appsettings.json settings file from the install directory for the 2D Graphic Data Service. The Diagnostic Utility detects the following:

2D GDS Web API settings file (appsettings.json) could not be found on this machine
Ensure that the appsettings.json settings file is in the install folder for the 2D Graphic Data Service. If the settings file is not there, run the VDS Configuration Utility again, and then click Save & Configure.

Error reading 2D GDS Web API settings file (appsettings.json)
This error indicates a problem in the appsettings.json settings file. Run the VDS Configuration Utility, and then click Save & Configure.

Incomplete "Hexagon.SmartAPI" settings found in appsettings.json
The Diagnostic Utility searches for two required sections (shown below) in the appsettings.json file, and one or both are missing. Run the VDS Configuration Utility again, and then click Save & Configure.
