The software takes collision distances from the Machine Database based on the selected technology group and the material group and thickness of the topmost article on the visual. You can change distances between parts and the distance between the part and the sheet on the Collision Distances menu (see below).
Material Group
Specifies the material group of the topmost article on the visual.
Material Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the topmost article on the visual.
Part-Part
Specifies the collision distance between parts.
Part-Sheet
Specifies the collision distance between the part and the sheet.
Torch count
Specifies the torch count used in nesting (target or maximum).
