The Visual menu contains order items, articles, and remnants. You must open these to visual for nesting. Visual moves part geometry in order items, articles, and remnants to the work area during nesting.
Order items are similar to order rows. In addition to part geometry, an order item
includes part quantity, material, quality, and due date.
The Nesting work area contains two visuals, both of which display order item part geometry and the available amount of ordered parts. The color of the part geometry indicates the available amount of order item parts. The color and status are described below.
Normal
The available amount of parts in the order item is greater than the nested amount.
Green hue
The available amount of parts in the order equals the nested amount.
Red hue
The available amount of parts in the order item is less than the nested amount.
The two visuals are described below.
Card Visual
Displays order items, articles, and remnants as a list of cards. The card visual panel is located on right side of the work area. The card visual display the amount to nest parameter, which the software uses during automatic nesting. This value might display more or less than the available amount to nest.
Work Area Visual
Displays the part geometry of order items in their actual proportions. You can open the Work Area Visual in the work area.
