Half Bridge uses the same technology object type as a bridge, one side of which is open and another side which can be cut. Half bridge geometry starts from the Lead In, which type is Arc Lead. You can create a half bridge with the Lead Out (Closed option, see below), which closes the half bridge geometry.
You can add a Half Bridge:

Between different parts

From part to itself - to the same profile, for example into the hole or opening

From opening's inner edge to edge, so that bridge connects the same bevels and whole edge can be cut using one line with bevel tool through the bridge
You can add multiple half bridges.
Bridged parts with closed half bridges on the nesting work area.
Click the Half Bridge drop-down menu under Bridge to display the Insert Half Bridge options (see below).

Contains commands and properties for defining the half bridge.
Parameters
Width
Specifies the bridge width.
Arc Lead Radius
Specifies the radius of the Lead In.
Closed
Half bridge will be created with the Lead Out, which closes the half bridge geometry (figure below).

Snap to profile corner
Specifies whether snap to profile is used for inserting a half bridge.
Snap Distance
Specifies a snapping distance.
Show bridge chain
Displays a bridged chain.
Actions
Contains the Insert Start Point mode. This enables you to add the new start point to the bridged chain. Click the new location on the geometry perimeter to insert the start point. Select Show bridge chain to display an unfinished bridged chain without a start point.
