You combine orders, plates, and remnants into a job. You can also add work areas to a job.
When you activate a job, the software loads orders, plates, and remnants to the Visual menu. If the job was used before and includes saved work areas, the software opens those work areas. Otherwise, the software opens a blank Nesting work area.
The software saves open work areas to the job when you close the job. The software loads these work areas when you reactivate the job.
Jobs are created when:

the software automatically sorts orders by thickness and quality, and creates a new job for each different thickness and quality value.

you manually add orders, plates, and remnants to the job.
The Jobs panel on the Database window contains primary tools for creating and managing jobs. You can also use the Quick Access Toolbar to activate or close jobs.
