Draw Line and Draw Circle display the Add relation menu on the State Manager. A relation is a geometric constraint between elements, or between an element and a plane, an axis, an edge, or a vertex. The element you draw can be related by different conditions. The available relation options and the maximum number of relations you can add depend on the drawing tool you use.

The Add relation menu for Draw Line is shown below.

When you click the relation to add, the software prompts you to select the element for the relation. Clicking an element in the work area confirms the relation.

You can add a relation at any point when drawing an element. Some parameters might be specified already; however, you can define new parameters after adding the relation.

The software displays a message if you add a relation that is impossible to draw.

Selected relations display in the Existing relations menu (see below). Click a relation to remove it from Existing relations.
