Click Dimensions on the toolbar to display the Draw dimension object properties in the State Manager.

Default

Sets all of the parameters to their default values when you click Defaults > Get Parts Defaults.

Type

Defines how the software creates the dimension. Depending on the type you select, you might need to activate one or more elements. You determine where the software places the dimension.

Dimension between two points

Places a dimension between two points.

Horizontal dimension between two points

Places a horizontal dimension between two points.

Vertical dimension between two points

Places a vertical dimension between two points.

Length of an arc or a fillet

Places a dimension measuring the length of an arc or fillet. You can place the dimension inside or outside of the element.

Diameter of an arc, circle, or a fillet

Places a dimension measuring the dimension of an arc, circle, or fillet. You can place the dimension inside or outside of the element.

Radius of an arc, circle, or a fillet

Places a dimension measuring the radius of an arc, circle, or fillet. You can place the dimension inside or outside of the element.

Dimension of an angle

Places a dimension measuring two linear, non-parallel elements. You can place the dimension for an internal angle or an external angle.

Bevel values

Creates an image of the bevel on the work area. You select the bevel, and then drag the image to the necessary location in the work area. You change the image size using Font Size.

Parameters

Font

Specifies the font type.

Font Size

Specifies the font size.

Prefix

Specifies the prefix for the dimension.

Precision

Enables you to specify the dimension precision. You can specify a maximum of five decimal places.

Measure one object

Places a dimension when you click an object.

The object and the dimensioning type need to align.

Show Border

Displays the border of the bevel dimension image (see the figure below). Clear the Show Border check box to hide the border.

This option is unavailable until you define the bevel parameters (see the figure below).

Add Main Dimensions

Creates horizontal and vertical dimensions of the geometry.

Show Dimensions in Bevel Symbol

Displays specific bevel dimensions in the bevel dimensions image (see the figure below). This enables you to customize the user-required bevel dimensions. Clear a dimension check box to hide that dimension.

Top Surface

Displays the dimensions of the top surface. Clear the Height or Angle check box to hide that dimension.

Root Surface

Displays the height dimension of the root surface. Clear the Height check box to hide the dimension.

Bottom Surface

Displays the dimensions of the bottom surface. Clear the Height or Angle check box to hide that dimension.

Displays the dimension of the top relieve. Clear the Height, Width, or angle Angle check box dimension.

Connecting Structure

Shows or hides the Thickness dimension. Specifies the thickness to weld.
