The example below shows how to draw a line tangential to a circle using dynamic relations.

  1. Click Line on the toolbar to display the Draw Line properties in the State Manager.

  2. Specify the Start point X and Y parameters. In the example below, the start point is set to origin. Point to the circle to activate it.

    The circle displays in orange.

  3. Press SHIFT to display the relation points and relation lines.

  4. Locate the relation in the work area.

    The software displays the relation name and icon next to the origin when the relation activates.

  5. Click the relation. In the example below, the relation point for the tangential relation is selected.

  6. Click Confirm or press ENTER to accept the line.
