You can export part geometries and nestings in several formats.

Part Geometry

• Smart Production Cutting geometry file

• DXF

• AutoCAD 2007 DXF

• DWG

• AutoCAD 2007 Drawing

• AutoCAD 2000 Drawing

• AutoCAD Drawing R12

Nestings

• Smart Production Cutting nesting file

• DXF

• AutoCAD 2007 DXF

• DWG

• AutoCAD 2007 Drawing

To export part geometries or nestings

This procedure is the same in both the Parts and Nesting work areas.

1. Click Save to display the export options, as shown below.

   

2. Click Export to export the Smart Production Cutting geometry or Nesting file. Alternatively, click Export to DXF/DWG to export the geometry as a DXF or DWG file.

3. Browse for the target folder, and then type the file name.

4. Select the Save As type if you use Export to DXF/DWG.

5. Click Save .
