You can use the filter drop-down lists to create filter conditions for Items in the Grid View. Filter conditions created using this method display in the Filter Editor.
To create a simple filter condition using filter drop down lists:

Point to a column header to display the filter button as shown below.

Click the filter button to display a drop-down list as shown below.

Select a filter from the list.
To create complex filter criteria using filter drop down lists:

Point to a column header and click the filter button to display the filter drop-down list.

Select (Custom) to display the Custom AutoFilter dialog, shown below.

Use the Row options to compare a column with one or two values.
To clear a filter:

Right-click a column header and select Clear Filter.
The software clears the column filter. This command is available only in Grid View.

Click Reset on the Filter Bar to clear all filter criteria.
