Create a shift handover configuration - j5 - 28.0 - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon

To create a shift handover configuration:

1. Select Add

2. Enter the relevant information for the shift handover.

3. Select a Main IndustraForm. This IndustraForm template is used for the shift report. IndustraForm templates are configured in the j5 IndustraForm Designer.

   

   

   • When no main IndustraForm is selected, the legacy shift handover interface and process is used.

   • The Outgoing Approval? and Incoming Approval? configuration fields are used for the legacy shift handover process. Approvals for the IndustraForm-driven shift handovers are configured on the linked IndustraForm in the j5 IndustraForm Designer.

   • The Handover Form Template (Legacy), Shift Reports, and Report Tags tabs become editable when a legacy shift handover configuration is saved.

   • We recommend that you use IndustraForm-driven shift handovers (select a main IndustraForm) when you want to import tag data into your shift report rather than using the legacy Report Tags tab because the Report Tags tab uses older technology.

4. Select Save

When you are satisfied the shift handover configuration meets the requirements, enable the configuration.
