While the advanced shift report template covers many features that are common across j5 shift handovers, some information is specific to the operational area or industrial process. These can be adjusted by editing the shift report template in the j5 IndustraForm Designer.

The screenshots in the following examples come from the Advanced shift report template - Operator. Due to the two advanced templates being so similar to each other, the common modifications described in this section can be applied to both templates.

  • To change the header bar label, see Header bar label

    1. Select the Sections tab in the configuration pane.

    2. Select section 1 in the sections box.

    3. Change Operator Crude Distillation Handover (or in the supervisor template: Supervisor Plant Distillation Handover) to the name of your shift handover in the Title box.

  • The KPIs chart displays line graphs of tag values from a data source. To edit what tag values are displayed, see Chart

    1. Select the <ProductionRateChart> cell.

    2. Scroll down to the Chart / Sparkline heading on the Properties tab.

    3. Select the data source of the tags from the Datasource option list, and enter the tag identifiers in the Tag boxes.

    4. Edit the y-Axis Min, Max values. Tag values that exceed the configured Min, Max values peak outside of the chart cell.

For more information, refer to Configure a chart for more information.

  • The process information tags are specific to operational areas like the KPIs in the standard shift report template.

To change the Tag Description and Tag Name labels in the j5 IndustraForm Designer, see KPI labels

    1. Select the cell you want to edit.

    2. Type the new label.

    3. Press ENTER.

The supervisor template (rows 54 to 60) doesn't have a Tag Description column, but has two Tag Number columns (column A and column I).

  • To edit what process data is displayed, see Process data

In the advanced operator template, cells E45 to E50 display the tag values. These cells display the process data for the tag names in column B.

In the advanced supervisor template, cells D55 to D60 and cells L55 to L60 display the tag values. These cells display the process data for the tag names in column A and column I.

To edit what process data is displayed:

    1. Edit the Tag Names to the tag names your want to display.

    2. Edit the Actual Value cells. These cells need to be edited individually.

      1. Select an Actual Value cell.

      2. Check that the Source of the cell is set to Process Data. This is found on the Properties tab under the Value heading.

      3. Scroll down to Process Data heading on the Properties tab, and select the data source for the tag from the Datasource option list.

Refer to Configure a process data cell for more information.

The data source for each sparkline also needs to be updated. This is done under the Chart / Sparkline section on the Properties tab.

  • To insert or delete rows, see Insert or delete a row

    To insert a row:

    2. Select Delete Row.
