The following two fields in the onboarding process help setup SSO:
Identity Provider Name – Issuer name provided by the Customer. The issuer name is added to the Estate and made available for the Customer Administrator to select when adding the users.
External Login Name – Specifies the value of the Claim Type that uniquely identifies a user in the Customer-specific Identity System.
For example, if the issuer name is ACME. When adding a user John to Smart Cloud, the Customer Administrator selects Identity Provider Name as ACME and External Login Name as john@acme.com.
The user logs in to Smart Cloud Portal using the login name john@acme.com. For more information, see How does SSO authentication work?
