This section provides instructions to Application Users on how to upgrade File Catalyst transfer agent to version 3.8.8 for both new and existing customers. Large File Transfer accelerates the import and export of large files using a third-party application called File Catalyst.
FileCatalyst is a software platform integrated in Smart Cloud Portal to accelerate and manage file transfers securely and reliably. The core transport technology used is based on the UDP protocol and is immune to the effects of latency and packet loss that can impact traditional file transfer methods. FileCatalyst breaks data into blocks and starts transmitting immediately and remains constant, regardless of the data transmission and network latency.

Problem Statement
FileCatalyst Transfer Agent running on older versions (3.8.8) started showing the warning of an expired SSL certificate and hence displaying Smart Cloud Portal as unsecure.
Solution
FileCatalyst TransferAgent needs to be upgraded to the latest version i.e. 3.8.8. This solution is recommended by File Catalyst support team. For more information, see FileCatalyst Support site.
Scenario # 1 - For existing users using Large File Transfer - Even though FileCatalyst TransferAgent already exists on the system, user needs to download and install the updated version depending on the operating system.
