  1. In the Estate Automation page, click Backup/Restore.

  2. Select an estate to initiate backup and/or restore.

  3. Click Backup & Restore, and then select EcoSys Database.

  4. In the Backup and Restore EcoSys Database window, type the following details:

    1. From the Destination Estate list, select the destination estate where you want to restore the data.

    2. Type comments in the Comments box and then click Submit to start the backup and restore process.

    • On clicking Submit, a new job is listed in the Automation Jobs tab with status as New.

    • On successful backup and restore, the job status is automatically changed to Completed.

    • If the job fails, then the job status in the Job Information tab is changed to Failed and the reason for the failure is listed in the Errors box.

    • The Download History tab lists the details of the job requested date and the name of the person who requested the job but does not display un-successful jobs.

  5. To view progress of the backup and to download the backup file, select the job name from the Automation Jobs tab.

Before the restore job is initiated, all the EcoSys users of the estate are logged off. Smart Cloud application displays a notification indicating the same.
