When should I raise a lock request for an active estate user?

You should raise a lock request for an active estate user when you want to prevent the user from accessing that estate.

You can raise a lock request only for active estate users.

  1. Click the Estate ID or estate name on the Estate Users page.

  2. Click Manage, and then select Lock.

  3. In the Lock dialog box, select one or more user check boxes.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. By default, the status for locked user requests is set to Pending Submit.

  6. To place the lock user requests for processing, click Submit Requests on the Estate Users page.

To submit requests, see Submit user requests.

  • You can also raise a lock request by selecting the user and clicking Lock User in the properties pane.

  • To raise an unlock request follow the same steps but select Unlock.
