The view cube provides tools to quickly change your display. You can use the tools on the cube, or you can use the shortcut keys and your mouse to rotate your view.
The center of the view cube shows a slightly rounded cube labeled with the standard named views. In plant models, the named views are Up, Down, North, East, South, and West. In marine models, the named views are Up, Down, Port, Forward, Starboard, and Aft. Click the faces on the cube to display the view you want to see. Click the corners of the view cube to quickly display isometric views. These standard views are based on the global coordinate system.
The buttons surrounding the view cube help you precisely adjust your display. These view cube adjustments respect the Active Coordinate System as specified on the Precision Input dialog.
