Select the objects in the model to copy.

Select Home Tab > Copy By Base Point (CTRL + SHIFT + C) . The software copies the selected objects to the Clipboard.

Select the base point in the view, and then select Home Tab > Paste (CTRL + V) to display Paste Controls.

Select a point in the view to place the object. The software shows the selected base point and then the distance to the placement point. The example below shows a tank being placed. The circle indicates the reference point.
Or, click Advanced Paste Options > Paste in Place to put the copied objects at the same coordinates as the original objects.
You can click Show in Clipboard to see an isolated view of the selected objects being copied.

You can select any reference point to use to later position the pasted objects. For example, you can click a coordinate system, a control point on a piece of equipment, or use Precision Input to specify the coordinates.

Some logical objects, such as systems and pipelines, do not prompt you for a placement point. In these cases, Paste performs a Paste in place.

Review the listed Required Relationships. To change a relationship, hover over a relationship and select Edit . Select a relationship in the Workspace Explorer.

Under Advanced Paste Options:

Select Keep original permission groups to assign all copied objects to the original permission groups.

Review any Optional Required Relationships. You can Edit relationships or select Delete All to remove all optional relationships.

Complete the placement:
Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.
Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes and then restart the command using the same options.

You can now select the new objects, and then rename and modify them as required.
