1. Click Electrical Tab > Route Cable Command to display the Route Cable(s) Controls.

2. In the Select Cable(s) section, select the cables using the glyph, or select Create Cable , or Modify Cable .

3. In the Route section, select Auto Route to route cable through the shortest path between the originating and the terminating device.

4. In the Auto Route Options section, set the maximum tail range from the originating device and the terminating device.

5. Click More Options to modify the Auto Route options.

   

6. Complete the placement:

   • Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

   • Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

   • Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
