Measure Commands

Between 2 points Show me

MeasureBetweenTwoPoints

Measures the linear distance between two key points. A key point is any point that you can highlight with the SmartSketch relationship indicators.

Measures the shortest distance between two objects.

The software does not use the SmartSketch list when measuring minimum distance. The SmartSketch list is used, however, when measuring distance.

Measurement

S3D_Measure_DeltaX

Specifies the distance along the X axis.

S3D_Measure_DeltaY

Specifies the distance along the Y axis.

S3D_Measure_DeltaZ

Specifies the distance along the Z axis.

S3D_Measure_Distance Distance

Specifies the distance value. You can specify the units by clicking Menu Choose Columns ICON > Options and selecting the Units of Measure Tab (Options Dialog).

S3D_Measure_CumulativeDistance Cumulative value

Sums repeated measurements until you clear this box or switch between angle and distance modes.

History

The most recently created measurement displays at the top of the list. Point to a measurement to display that measurement temporarily in the model.

You can copy a specific value from these measurements by double-clicking that value. Click Copy All to copy all the values in that measurement. The copied values are then available from the Clipboard.
