Menu >
The Import Command > General > Grid Systems command imports coordinate systems into the model from a specified .xml or .xlsx file. You can export grids to a file from the Grids task in Intergraph Smart 3D.
You can modify the distance and angles in the exported .xml or .xlsx file using any accepted Units of Measure format, and then import. It is easier to modify the inputs in .xlsx than in .xml. Refer to the AvailableUnitFormats sheet in the exported .xlsx file to understand the accepted Units of Measure formats. You can also add and remove elevation and grid planes in the .xml or .xlsx file before you import.
