Add a shape to equipment - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help - Hexagon

Selectthe equipment to modify.

Select the shape to add from the gallery of available shapes at the bottom of the Place Equipment Controls.

Select , and type the name of the shape in the Search box.

Select , and select Browse Catalog to navigate to a shape in the catalog.

The shape displays as a wireframe in the model. Shape Controls displays. The properties of the shape display in the Properties view.

Position the shape in the model:

Select Move to specify a location.

Select Rotate to rotate the shape about the active axis.

Use keyboard shortcuts to quickly rotate objects and select control points. See Equipment Keyboard Shortcuts.

Edit the properties of the shape to meet your requirements.

Complete the placement:

• Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

• Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

• Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
